UPDATE: 13 Action News spoke to a grandmother who said her grandson was confronted by the possible suspects moments before the shooting at Chapel Hill Apartments.

"He saw these four black guys with no shirts on and they were arguing," said the grandmother, who didn't want to be named in fear of retaliation. "When they saw him they asked him what was up and so he hurried up and scurried in the house."

Her grandson, who is only 15 years old, went inside his apartment seconds before he heard shooting.

"I'm just thankful that my grandson escaped without any harm," said the grandmother.

Police said the three men shot are not cooperating with their investigation and the suspects remain on the run.

ORIGINAL STORY

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Three people were taken to the hospital after a shooting at an apartment complex near Russell and Fort Apache roads.

Police received multiple calls around 7:11 a.m. Monday. Witnesses say an argument broke out between several people at a dog park located within the complex when the shots were fired.

"I heard a couple guys arguing," says one witness, David Summers, who says that argument was right outside his apartment.  "It sounded like they were going to come through my bedroom window."

The victims' injuries were non-life threatening.
Two vehicles were seen leaving the complex right after the shooting and may have been involved in the incident.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
