Police are investigating a shooting at a local Target store.
It was reported around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday near the 4100 block of Blue Diamond Road.
Investigators say Target Loss Prevention made contact with a theft suspect and a struggle ensued.
During this time, an uninvolved citizen armed with a gun attempted to apprehend the suspect in the parking lot.
The citizen fired a handgun at the suspect's vehicle. The suspect is still on the loose. There were no reported injuries to any shoppers.
The person who fired the gun was arrested.
