Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo is running for re-election in 2018.
In a statement Tuesday, Lombardo says he has unfinished business.
The sheriff was first elected in 2014 after working for years at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where he first began as a patrolman in 1989.
