We are only 2 nights away from the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and the attention is on security.

There have been several attacks lately that involved vehicles being driven into crowds of people. There's no doubt that a big crowd will be gathered outside the arena before the fight on Saturday night.

However, it is not the first rodeo for MGM security and Las Vegas police. The two entities are working together right now to make sure there's a plan for anything that might happen.

If you look at Toshiba Plaza outside the arena, it appears to be a big open area that might be vulnerable to an incident like the one that happened in Barcelona.

Our crime and safety expert, retired police Lt. Randy Sutton, told us that although a situation like that has probably been discussed, it is unlikely that they will put any roadblocks.

He says that doing so might send a message that they are expecting something to happen and they don't want people to think that.

He says that people can expect to see plenty of uniformed officers on fight night and there will be officers in plainclothes too.
