5:37 P.M.

11 people, including 2 children, were displaced after a duplex fire at 885 Ute Lane around 4:32 p.m. One person was evaluated at the scene for a medical condition but was not taken to the hospital. Damage has not yet been estimated.

2:00 P.M.

The ground stop at McCarran Airport has been lifted, though officials say that delays are still expected for incoming flights.

1:47 P.M.

McCarran Airport officials say that a ground stop has been issued by the FAA for incoming flights due to thunderstorms in the Las Vegas area.

1:20 P.M.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning until 3:45 p.m. in West Central Clark County, as well as Northeastern San Bernardino County in Southern California.

According to the NWS, Sandy Valley and Goodsprings (including Kingston Road and State Highway 161) will experience flooding.

2:50 A.M.

Firefighters responded to smoke coming from the clubhouse of the Saratoga Palms apartment complex on Lamb Boulevard, near Bonanza Road.

2:30 A.M.

A dryer fire occurred overnight at Cadwaller Middle School on 7775 Elkhorn Road. The fire was confined and school resumed normally this morning.
