Nevada lawmakers are considering a controversial bill regarding ridesharing companies, such as Uber and Lyft.
Wait times are among the things Senate Bill 485 would regulate. If passed, it would put a 15-minute wait time in place before a driver can pick up a passenger who requested a ride.
The bill also requires drivers to prove they've passed an alcohol and drug test, regular driving and medical examinations.
