EARLIER STORY
Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash involving a stolen vehicle.
The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday near Interstate 15 and Cheyenne Avenue.
According North Las Vegas Police, a stolen vehicle struck a patrol car in an attempt to get away. The stolen vehicle also crashed into other vehicles.
The suspect has been arrested. Police say there are minor injuries. It is not known if that includes injuries to any police officers.
The westbound lanes of Cheyenne Avenue between Civic Center Drive and Losee Road are currently closed to other traffic. In addition, the southbound off-ramp from I-15 to Cheyenne and the northbound on-ramp from Cheyenne to I-15 are closed.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
