3:38 P.M.

UPDATE: The jumper has been taken into custody.

Nevada highway patrol confirms that a man is threatening to jump from the overpass on the 215 and North Jones Boulevard. All lanes have been shut down.

Patrol officers are currently talking to the man.

11:30 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to an apartment fire at 10 a.m. near Lake Mead and Decatur Boulevard. It was confined to one apartment. No one was home at the time and no injuries reported. Three people displaced. Approximately $50,000 in damage. Cause unknown at this time. 

6 A.M.

 

North Las Vegas Fire Department responded to an apartment fire on Tuesday morning near Civic Center and Cheyenne Avenue. One person is in grave condition. 

 

 

 

4:50 A.M.

 

Las Vegas police have shot a suspect in connection to the double homicide on Monday afternoon. Two bodies were found dead Monday, near Flamingo & Tenaya Way. READ MORE
