Las Vegas ranks number nine on list of pet-friendly cities

Las Vegas is number nine on WalletHub's list of most pet-friendly cities in the United States.

The study analyzed 100 cities on 19 key metrics, including minimum pet-care provider rates and pet-friendliness of rental markets.

Las Vegas earned high marks for "outdoor pet-friendliness" and "pet health & wellness." The city also has the most pet businesses per capita.

Orlando, Florida came in first place on the list for having some of the healthiest animals in the country, while New York, New York came in dead last due to the high costs of owning a pet.
