LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a man who was on house arrest when he died.

Police say the man was released from the Clark County Detention Center on March 16. He was rushed to the hospital on April 13 after police say someone called 9-1-1 to report a medical emergency at an apartment on Tropicana Avenue near Nellis Boulevard.

The man did not have any police interaction prior to the medical episode, police say.

The man's identity, as well as the cause and manner of his death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.
