A 53-year-old inmate died after he was found unresponsive in his cell at a prison outside of Las Vegas.
On Feb. 12, Francisco Grace was found in his cell at High Desert State Prison, located about 30 miles north of Las Vegas. Responding staff immediately began life-saving measures which were unsuccessful and Grace was pronounced dead at approximately 3:15 a.m.
Grace was committed from Clark County on December 28, 2012, and was serving a sentence of 4-10 years for robbery.
After an exhaustive search, Nevada Department of Corrections staff members were unable to locate next of kin. Anyone who knows family of Grace is asked to contact 775-887-3309.
