LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An inmate at Clark County Detention Center is dead after a medical episode on Wednesday, police say.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says CCDC staff tried to save the 31-year-old man's life but were unsuccessful.
The inmate was booked into CCDC the day before his death, on April 14, on Battery Domestic Violence charges and Coercion after being transferred from Henderson jail.
The decedent did not have any police interaction prior to the medical episode, police say.
His identification, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.
