The Vegas Golden Knights finally hit the ice Tuesday as they started their rookie development camp at the Las Vegas Ice Center.
All 12 of the picks in last week's entry draft were at the development camp. There were also some hopefuls hitting the ice looking to impress and become a part of the team.
44 players total are at the camp. It's a chance for the organization to get a close up look at some of the players, and develop them into players either ready for pro hockey, or players who can hopefully join the team in the future.
There is a chance for fans to watch the camp. Some players to look out for are forward Kenny Brooks, a Las Vegas native, and Cody Glass, a first round pick and potentially a future big scorer for the team.
The camp is going on until Saturday.
It's free for fans, but space is limited. If you want to watch, you have to register here.
