Firefighters responded to a fire at 3:30 a.m. Monday at Caesars Palace.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy smoke in a ballroom area that was headed towards the casino.
A second alarm was requested to assist with the incident.
Firefighters then began evacuating people from the shops leading to the ballrooms, some of the ballrooms and a portion of the Palace Tower.
Fire was discovered at one of the top of the escalators. It had also spread to some nearby curtains.
The fire was knocked down at 3:53 a.m.
Three of the hotel's employees were transported to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
I just spoke with a woman who told me she was forced to leave her room because of the fire at #caesars. She says they gave her seconds to leave and no estimate on when she can go back to her room.
