A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after being shot overnight in North Las Vegas.
The shooting, which took place in the 3300 block of Civic Center Drive, was reported at 3:20 a.m. A 26-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were shot while they were on the balcony of an apartment.
The woman died at UMC Trauma. The man was taken to North Vista Hospital to be treated.
At this time, the shooter is not in custody.
