A man accused in a robbery and shooting at a Subway last year told an undercover officer he would pay money to kill the sole witness in his case.
According to the arrest report, 25-year-old Erin Ware told an undercover officer he would pay $5,000 to "take out the trash," referring to the witness.
Ware was arrested back in August following the June robbery of a Subway on Maryland Parkway near Wigwam Avenue. Police said he shot a clerk several times when she tried to defend herself.
Ware now faces an additional charge of solicitation to commit murder along with charges of attempted murder and robbery with a deadly weapon.
