Report: Nevada has fewest healthcare workers per capita

NEVADA (KTNV) — A new report shows Nevada has the fewest healthcare workers per capita of all the fifty states.

Nevada may also be less prepared than others to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, according to the report.

Self Financial analyzed numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and determined there are 3.9 healthcare workers for every 100 people in the US.

But in Nevada, that number is 2.94 - the lowest in the nation.
