A controversial Halloween display in Summerlin has people talking.

The question is, would you call the display extremely creative or offensive and gruesome?

The display has hanging mannequins and bloody baby dolls with polls through them.

"Personally I don't have a problem with it but there's a lot of kids in this neighborhood," said one neighbor on the fence about the display.

"I would never do that," said another.

"Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with it, it's Halloween, isn't this like normal?" said a third neighbor.

13 Action News got to speak with the people behind the display.

"We've had these decorations up for three years now, we've just added more every year," said Ryan. "I think It's hilarious because it's just Halloween decorations, we saw stuff, we thought it was cool looking, and we did it, there was no intentions to offend anybody."

Ryan's girlfriend Kelcie is a hair stylist, hence the hanging mannequins. She got the bloody babies idea from Pinterst.

Ryan and Kelcie say their neighbors understand their humor.

"They know us. They know what we are about. They see it quite a bit but I can see how it would come off not that great to the people that don't know us."
