It has been five years since 15-year-old Alyssa Otremba was brutally raped and murdered, and her family still does not have justice.
But Friday night, Alyssa's family received overwhelming support from Arbor View High School students.
A moment of silence was held at a football game, and band members wore green ribbons in her memory.
The 15-year-old was tortured and killed on Sept. 2nd, 2011 while walking home from a friend's house.
Her mother says this year has been especially hard because the anniversary of Alyssa's death came right before they learned the trial of the accused killer was delayed for a mental evaluation.
