A three-year-old child was shot in the leg on Wednesday night, according to Las Vegas police.
Police say they received a call from personnel at Sunrise Hospital at around 3:38 a.m. Thursday that a child had been admitted with a gunshot wound.
When police responded to the hospital, they were informed the child had been shot around 11 p.m. at a car wash located near Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard.
The parents drove the child to the hospital. The child suffered a non-life threatening injury.
Detectives went to the car wash to see if they could discover what may have led to the shooting.
